Queen Maxima Nearly Hit

In a blue midi dress, Queen Maxima of the Netherlands had to duck to avoid getting knocked out by a man who was delivering traditional lunches on a large platform in Mumbai.

As part of her work with the UN, and on her final day of visit, she found herself in the way of world-renowned men, the Dabbawallas (tiffin-box carriers).

Eager to know how the on-time, every time delivery process works, she made sure to include a visit to the dabbawalas who had been delivering lunches everyday in Mumbai for 125 years.

Ever the jubilant queen, Maxima, 47, she is ready with her smile and a laugh after the near collision.

The royal was impeccably turned out as always, complimenting her sensational lacy blue dress with an eye-catching necklace made of blue beads and chunky pearls.
She wore delicate blue earrings and glittering silver bracelets for the daytime function.
On her feet, she donned a sky-high pair of blue platform heels with a peep toe that revealed red nail polish.
She has undertaken the trip to India as the United Nations Secretary-General's Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development.
