Dressed for Summer: Belgian Queen Enjoys Ballet During Her Namesake Awards

Queen Mathilde of Belgium enjoyed a charming performance by young ballet dancers at her namesake awards in Brussels.

The 45-year-old, mother of four, was in a lilac off-the-shoulder dress with a mint green floral print, perfect for the warm weather. She completed the outfit with blush coloured accessories in the form of silk court shoe and a matching clutch.

Following the performance, she presented the award to this year's winners. This annual award is part of the Queen Mathilde Fund that focuses on the issue of social vulnerability among children and young people.

In addition to financial support, the prize-winners also benefit from coaching to evaluate the impact of their initiative on young people.

Queen Mathilde has been married to King Phillipe of Belgium for 19 years. Her husband ascended the throne on 21 July 2013.
