Beatrice Borromeo, a member of the ancient aristocratic House of Borromeo of Italy and wife of Monaco’s Pierre Casiraghi gave birth to their second child, another boy.
Already catching attention way before she married because of her beauty and impeccable fashion sense, she was an Italian journalist and TV personality.
A statement from Pierre and Beatrice's mothers read: "Princess Caroline of Hanover and Countess Donna Paola Marzotto are delighted to announce the birth of their grandson, born on 21 May 2018. He is named Francesco Carlo Albert."

Such is the demand for privacy of this low-key couple that it wasn’t until March when we saw Beatrice’s bump in a figure-hugging black velvet Alberta Ferretti gown at the Monaco Rose Ball.

Beatrice Borromeo is the stylish, down-to-earth royal everyone needs to know about.
Getting married in Valentino |
Famously quoted telling a stylist on a photo shoot not to make her “a little princess” because it would “depress” her, she wears a ballgown, a dress coat and nude courts for a society wedding like any royal. But the difference is hers are exclusive pieces by Valentino, Armani Prive, or Chanel, with an added streak of personality with bold accessories.

She used to borrow dresses. “I'm a reporter, and I have the salary of a reporter,” she told Glamour when she was still doing the job. “I'm not going to put half of my salary into a pair of shoes. I did it a few times in my life, and it doesn't feel right. You can wear Zara and nothing bad is going to happen to you.”
Beatrice was a contributor of Newsweek and the Daily Beast in 2013. Prior to that, from the newspaper's beginning in 2009, she worked as a full-time reporter for Il Fatto Quotidiano until 2016.
