She’s the only future queen regnant of her generation, with the other 4 belonging to the next generation, including her own daughter Princess Estelle. And with this, you would think Princess Victoria of Sweden will do a Duchess of Cambridge and a Princess Mary by shying away from work. You’re wrong.
Women really have to prove themselves by working thrice as hard and that’s what Crown Princess Victoria did.
In a matter of hours, she did 3 engagements. Do the math and include sleeping, eating and the usual basic things one does to prepare one’s self, including overseeing her two kids and tell me how she could’ve possibly done it. But, she did! And she did it fashionably.
The 40-year-old looked elegant in the annual meeting of the Friends of the National Museum in a form-fitting cream dress printed with pink blooms. Since her clothes are already making a bold statement, she wore minimum accessories like the patent clutch and the matching court shoe. Because she has wavy, thick hair, she kept everything tidy by wearing it in her usual chignon.
Earlier, she was at Riksdag for the unveiling of a bust of her late great-uncle, Swedish diplomat Folke Bernadotte. She joined her mother, 74-year-old Queen Silvia, at the event. She turned heads in a vibrant midi dress with an elegant belted waist, tiered skirt and a flared hem. She had a red leather clutch and vertiginous suede stilettos.
Within a 24-hour-time frame she was also seen in an elegant navy tea dress at the ceremony for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award in Stockholm.
